Favorite Movies {No.1}

Hey Yall, so I was thinking I love old movies and westerns! So i'm going to start posting acouple of my favorite movies every week what do ya'll think?

I am like a really big John Wayne fan...lol! So here is a list of my family's favorite John Wayne movies!


The Searchers:

The Searchers is a 1956 American Western film directed by John Ford, based on the 1954 novel by Alan Le May, and set during the Texas–Indian Wars. 




Red River:

Tom Dunson builds a cattle empire with his adopted son Matthew Garth. Together they begin a massive cattle drive north from Texas to the Missouri railhead....



EL  Dorado:

El Dorado is a 1967 western movie starring John Wayne and Robert Mitchum, directed by Howard Hawks, and released by Paramount Pictures.

Split ends!!

I have split ends really bad well.. that is I "had" split ends... I was talking to my friend  Layla, and was telling her that I had split ends really bad and she told me that a couple tablespoons of honey and a few teaspoons of coconut oil would seal my ends up!! So I thought hey why not try it... guess what it WORKED!!! I was super excited!! I fixed my split ends with out getting my hair cut!!

Okay so I will give you the directions on what to do! :)

Mix  2tbl. of honey with 2 tsp. of coconut oil! Work into the ends of your hair!! Then what I did was put my hair in a shower cap, let it sit  on for about an hour and then rinse and shampoo!!!

                       Do you know a good way to help your hair grow faster?

Hey everyone, So this is one of my best friends Mindy... We have know each other for about 3 years! We haven't got to see each other lately so her and her siblings got to come over today it was a great day!! We played in the hay barn and went for a long walk oh and watched an episode of the Virginian, one of my family's favorite westerns!!!

Flowered Dress!!

Hey everyone, I just wanted to share this with ya'll a week ago my friend Layla over at Two Blessed Damsels  had a birthday!! And I made her a dress, I thought it turned out really good and it looked supper cute on her so I thought I would post a pic!!

Flowered Dress

Howdy, so yeah this is my first outfit post I'm really excited..lol

Whoopie Pies!

Yay, so I made Whoopie Pies, they were really good, sadly I didn't get a pic of them :(.. But here is the recipe!!

Ingredients

• 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 1/2 cups unsweetened cocoa powder
• 1 tablespoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
• 2 cups sugar
• 2 large eggs
• 2 cups buttermilk, room temperature
• 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Sift together flour, salt, cocoa powder, baking soda, and baking powder. Set aside. In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, buttermilk, and vanilla. Beat until well combined. Slowly add dry ingredients. Mix until combined.
2. Using a 1-ounce ice cream scoop, place cookies onto lined baking pans, 12 per pan. Bake for 12 minutes. Remove to a rack to cool. Repeat with remaining batter.
3. Spread 2 tablespoons frosting onto each of 24 cookies. Sandwich together with remaining 24 cookies.

Frosting 

• 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
• 2 cups sifted confectioners' sugar
• 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

1. In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, cream together butter and sugar until pale and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Add Fluff and vanilla and continue mixing until well combined.

They were really pretty easy to make and were really good!!

Herbal Hair Spray!!

Hey everybody, I mentioned that I used hair spray a couple posts ago, I used store bought but here is a Herbal Hair Spray I have been wanting to try!! Let me know how yours works!!
